Due to the nature of our apparel, in most cases a one time wear, special event or seasonal wear, all sales are final with the exception of a courtesy one time size or color exchange on most apparel items (ie. dresses, suits, outfits) in the exact style as originally ordered. We do NOT accept returns for refund without a same product exchange.
Easy 30 Day Exchange Policy on Most Apparel
(Shoes & Accessories are Final Sale with No Exchanges/Returns Available, customized tuxedos and petal dresses have a $12 customized item return fee.)
- Size Exchange or Color Exchange Only:
You may exchange apparel products (dresses, outfits, suits) for color or size in the exact same style one time.
- One time exchange allowed within the exact same style only – One style cannot be exchanged for a different style. (example: a 3710 can only be exchanged for a 3710)
How to Exchange – Simple Step by Step Instructions
- Simply place a NEW ORDER online for the new size or color that you need (in the same style). A new order must be placed; we do not swap items. You can email the returns department for pre-approval if unsure if you product is covered for exchange.
- Complete the “Return Authorization Request Form” by clicking this LINK. Email the completed form to returns@isabellasfate.com. The NEW ORDER NUMBER must be included on the form.
- The Returns Department will contact you via email within 1-2 business days and, if approved, you will receive a RA# and instructions for your return. Ensure that the Return Authorization Number is clearly written on the outside of the package as packages without a valid RA are refused.
- Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. Send the product back to Isabella’s Fate within 10 days from issuance of the RA#. Upon passing inspection you will be credited the product cost, less shipping, to your original payment method.
- 30 Day Return Policy Time Frame: Returns will not be accepted if the item has been in the possession of the customer for a total of more than 30 days. Our customer expect a fresh, new product and we cannot in good faith resell any product that has been in someone else’s possession for an extended period of time. Isabella’s Fate must have possession of the return by 30 days from receipt of delivery to the customer. This time frame is NOT negotiable!
- RA# will expire 10 days from the date it was issued; if the RA expires simply request an extension if available if you are still within the 30 day time frame.
- EXCHANGE DELIVERY TIME: New product delivery time depend on the new order shipping method chosen at checkout. New order shipping costs are non-refundable. It is the customer's responsibility to choose the shipping method that will allow delivery of the exchange by your need by date. Isabella's Fate recommends ordering at least 4 weeks prior to wear date to allow turn around time if an exchange is needed.
CLAIMS: WAS THERE A PROBLEM WITH YOUR ORDER? DID YOU RECEIVE AN DEFECTIVE OR INCORRECT ITEM? Click here to start a product claim. Product claims are only valid within 48 hours (2 days) from date of delivery. A CLAIM FORM must be completed and emailed to Isabella’s Fate to begin a claim.
Sizing and Apparel Fit: (Remember, manufacturer sizing standards vary from brand to brand and in many cases style to style. You cannot expect your child’s current casual size to fit the same as a formal size –taking measurements is important!)
- Unlike department stores our products cannot be tried on in the dressing room for fit. This is why the accurate, product specific size charts (proven accurate to within 1”) located on each product page are so very important. For the best fit it is recommended that you take your child’s measurements and compare to these size charts. Our customer care representatives can help select the best fit and we offer measurement help located at the footer of the website.
- Please note: While we are happy to help with fit, we cannot, however, be held liable if product arrives and does not fit. Since our representatives are unable to measure the child themselves and depend on 3rd party measurement information it is impossible to guarantee fit and lack of fit does not constitute a return without exchange.
Condition of Return, Inspection & Return Refusal:
- Returns must be in the original, new condition in which it arrived to the customer.
- Tags MUST BE fully attached in original placement. WE DO NOT FOR ANY REASON TAKE A RETURN IN WHICH THE TAGS HAVE BEEN REMOVED!
- We have a rigorous inspection process to ensure that the product has not been worn. Any signs of wear or use will result in the sale being deemed final and the product returned to the customer.
- Fees may apply after the return is received if the item is not packaged and assembled properly. Please click here for fee list.
- Note that adverse odors such as smoke or food smells will result in return refusal; also any stressed seams or popped buttons from forced fit attempts will be refused.
- If product fails inspection it will be returned to sender and deemed final sale
- Return must have a valid RA# written on the outside of the package; if no valid RA is visible the return will be returned to sender.
- Accessories, clearance, overstock or final sale items cannot be exchanged (view 'Final Sale Items' below).
- We only accept returns for exchanges on the same style as originally ordered; no exchanges for another style.
- Return for refund is only given for an approved exchanges; refunds are not offered under any other circumstance.
Coupon Usage on Exchanges
- Reorders for merchandise exchange must be equal to the cost of the original merchandise being replaced. Unless there is a $ +/- price variation from size differences. Think of these orders simply as a straight exchange which should both be equal in cost (less possible up/down sizes).
- Coupons or shipping discounts cannot be used on the exchange order that were not used on the original order. If the 1st order had a coupon applied a coupon valuing the same amount may be used on the 2nd order - if no coupon is used we will not apply a split credit. If no coupon was used in the first order a coupon cannot be used on the second order - if a coupon is used on the 2nd order (but not the 1st) this will result in a split coupon amount in which the 2nd order coupon is split between both orders.
What if the Size/Color I Need Isn’t Available?
- If we are currently out of stock in the size/color you need you can wait for it to become available or request a return for merchandise credit.
- If we do not carry or the manufacturer does not make the size you need your product might be eligible to be returned for merchandise credit.
- This does not apply on final sale items (See "Final Sale Items" below)
Over Orders Not Allowed
- • We're sorry, we do not allow over orders on the same order. This means that products cannot be ordered in two different sizes, colors or styles on the same order with sole purpose of choosing the one liked best and returning the other. Exchanges are available for apparel orders in which this can be accomplished. Over orders take in stock product availability away from other customers and/or force a possibly unneeded special order product to be ordered in. If you need help choosing the correct size please contact us.
- If an over order is placed without prior written consent from Isabella's Fate a NEW separate order must be placed for another size for a return to be accepted (this cannot be 2 sizes within the same order) or if, only at the discretion of Isabella's Fates Return Department, a return is allowed without a new order a 20% restocking fee will be deducted from the return and merchandise credit issued (not refund). Sorry, absolutely no exceptions
DELIVERY DATES ARE NOT GUARANTEED: Isabella's Fate in no way guarantees delivery dates as noted on our Policy & Shipping page and as such does NOT accept returns if your order delivers past your need by date. Isabella's Fate recommends ordering 4 weeks prior to need by date.
Final Sale Items – No Exchanges Available MAKE SURE TO READ BEFORE MAKING RA REQUEST:
- All accessories are final sale with NO returns/exchanges available and including but are not limited to: Head wear, hair accessories, socks, shoes, neckties, bowties, jewelry, gloves, bibs, hats, blankets, suspenders, dress shirts separates, shirts, holiday/seasonal products, pillow, baskets, purses, cummerbunds, sashes, pins, garment bags, gift sets, slips, petticoats or undergarments -Final sale on these products still apply even if not individually noted on the product page.
- Clearance, discontinued, overstock or sale products; these will be noted on the product page below description.
- Pieces of suits or dresses cannot be exchanged; whole products only to be exchanged
- Customized Apparel made to your specifications can be exchange with a $12 customized item fee.

Pre-Authorization
If you are given pre-authorization for a return before completing the request form below the same 30 day return time frame applies. This means return product must be in possession of Isabella's Fate within 30 days from the original receipt of delivery to customer. There are no exceptions to this time frame.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT RETURN POLICY: This return policy STILL APPLIES, even if a customer chooses not to read it, in its entirety, before purchase. The return policy, privacy policy and terms & conditions are easily and readily accessible and not reading them does not void the validity of them.
